Terms & Conditions For Service Contracts

1. PAYMENT

Prices will have VAT applied at the applicable rate.

When taking out a servicing agreement, payment is to be made in full within 28 days of the dated invoice. A full invoice will then be issued to the buyer and cover will begin.

When the seller quotes for an emergency cover payment is to be made in full within 14 days of the dated invoice.

Cheques to be made payable to We Build It Limited

All goods remain property of We Build It Limited until fully paid for

To comply with the manufacturer’s requirements regarding de-sludging, only We Build It Limited will advise when the Bio-Pure will need emptying as per the service agreement. This will be determined by the following servicing and duly noted in the service report.

We Build It Ltd reserve the right under the late payments of commercial debts (interest) Act 1998 to charge interest on overdue accounts at the rate of 8% above base rate.

2. CANCELLATION

No Contract may be cancelled by the Buyer except with the agreement, in writing, of the seller and on terms that the Buyer shall indemnify the Seller in full against all loss (including loss of profit), costs, damages, charges and expenses.

3. ENTITLEMENT

Emergency breakdown requests will be subject to the assessment of the senior technical engineer and prioritised.

1 annual service visit is booked when we are next in your area, on our ‘Service Runs’

Free emergency breakdown cover (this applies for the first hour spent on site, additional time will be charged at £85 plus VAT per hour)

Buyer is not entitled to an emergency call out within the first 14 days of payment.

Free replacement parts for the air pump (i.e., diaphragms & air filter)

Service visit(s) with detailed service reports informing the buyer of everything checked and the overall performance of the system.

All travel costs and labour charges for call outs and services included in the price.

Emptying is not included in the price, however if the treatment plant does require emptying, We Build It Limited will advise following servicing (please see 1.5) The buyer will incur the cost of emptying

The integral alarm will be tested upon each service visit to ensure it is operating effectively.

The air pump and diffuser will be checked for any defects and blockages, and these will be resolved on site

The electrical source powering the air pump and alarm will be checked to determine any deterioration.

A physical test of the lid of the tank will be performed.

Visual inspection of the entire system for any defects will also be performed.

In cases where the system has a pumped outlet, the submersible pump will be tested thoroughly as will the pumped alarm to ensure it is alerting the buyer to all eventualities, i.e., loss of power, loss of air pressure and high-water levels.

4. ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility to the unit is the responsibility of the buyer, if during an annual service, access to the tank is restricted or the area around the unit has not been maintained, the service may not be carried out, a charge to re-arrange will be at the expense of the buyer.

Manhole covers are the buyer’s responsibility to open and close before and after a service. It is not the engineers responsible to gain access other than via the standard GRP Lid.

The engineer can cancel a service visit upon arrival if the tank is not accessible or where the engineer’s health and safety is compromised and cannot complete the service in a safe manner.

It is the responsibly of the buyer to ensure any flooded tanks are to be emptied prior to our arrival, as there may not be a suitable place to discharge the raw sewage from the treatment system.

5. DAMAGE

Damages, vandalism, and neglect/misuse of the system (including not following the Dos and Don’ts Lists) is the fault of the buyer and We Build It Limited are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from any of these. Extra charges may apply to visits where vandalism and neglect /misuse has occurred.

Damage to plants surrounding the tank is not the responsibility of We Build it Limited.

Damages caused by flooding is an act of God and is not included in the warranty and We Build It Limited are not responsible for damages as a result of flooding.
